OggCamp Travel

Postby Dan on 27 Jan 2010, 14:39

We were asked to make an area on the OggCamp website for attendees to discuss their travel to Liverpool. I presume this means car sharing, maybe even shared accommodation who knows, it's up to you lot. I've created this forum thread for people to do just that. There's travel information on http://oggcamp.org/travel and I'll also link that back to here.

Obviously we can't keep an eye on all this, whatever you arrange between yourselves is your own responsibility. Sorry to have to give the disclaimer but you know what people are like. "I arranged a lift with someone on your forum and they didn't turn up, I demand compensation!!!" Yeah? Take it up with them.

Remember the immortal words of Bill & Ted - "Be excellent to each other" ;)

I bet he just has your faces set up as a brush, for whenever an opportunity arises. One day he's going to be too sleepy, and one of you will end up a green bell pepper. :D

Maybe this is not the right thread to ask, but about which time will OggCamp start on the 1st May? Will I miss all the fun when I arrive at 5pm?
Edit:And how long will it run on the 2nd of May? Rough times would be nice :)

I suspect the first day of sessions will be wrapping up at about 5pm on the Saturday, but there'll be people around and some social stuff going on in the evening. There should be plenty of stuff on Sunday and I expect it'll be 10am - 4pm or something like that. Timings and schedule haven't been sorted out yet, so I can't confirm any of this it's just ball park figures. We will probably have our UUPC/LO live session on the Sunday though. Hope you can make it!! :)

I shall be traveling up from Coventry hopefully... assuming the car is still running by then!

Not given thought to accommodation yet... maybe I'll pack a tent ;)
