My main OS is Ubuntu, but I have another PC with Windows that I must use for my work (hope to get rid of it some day, but it won't happen soon). I use Dropbox to sync my files between the two, and to have them available via the web interface when I'm using other computers away from home (which I do almost every day). My Dropbox is filled with about 4GB out of the 5GB of the free account, and once I get it filled I'll be happy to pay for more. I should prefer using UbuntuOne and spending my money with Canonical rather then Dropbox, but it won't happen unless UbuntoOne syncs my Windows PC. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. In fact, I'm willing to bet that many Ubuntu users also use Windows (at work) so this is a very important feature for UbuntuOne if it is to compete with Dropbox.

Thank you for mentioning the Debian event.

Is it? It's not to me!

mg6 wrote:Maybe you guys should just show Jono how to actually edit audio on Ubuntu. Your sound quality is at least as good as their's, so he doesn't really have an excuse for using QBase other than it's what he's used to. That's kind of a sad situation for someone who is supposed to be promoting Ubuntu.

I suppose that might work a bit better on the N900 than the standard Banshee interface. xD
