Weird. Mashpodder brought down the mp3 version instead of ogg. Here's the line from my mp.conf file:

Code: Select all

No worries, Fab. It's actually more convenient for me to hate freedom since my phone plays mp3 and not ogg. ;)
[edit]: btw thanks and get some sleep. :)

Listening now! Regarding eMusic, I've been a subscriber to this service for going on 3 years, probably, and I am very satisfied with it. There are are a number of things going for it:
    1. No drm
    2. Good prices--depending on your package, the individual tracks are as little as 20 cents.
    3. Each track costs the same amount, no matter how long it is (makes for very good value for classical music, which is mostly what I get and often has tracks in the 15-30 minute range--iTunes and other services would make you buy the whole album instead of just getting the single track)
    4. It remembers which tracks you've downloaded, and if you need to re-download them (after hard drive failure or even if you just space out and delete them) you can download them again without counting against your monthly download total. Even stuff I downloaded two years ago I can download again at no cost.
Downside to eMusic: you're stuck in a monthly subscription, and the tracks-per-month don't roll over if you don't use them. Also it doesn't have many of the premium pop artists. Excellent selection in Classical and Jazz, though. I also got tons of Billy Bragg tracks there. :)

Superb ep!

So good I've made a small donation.. feel free to just buy beer with it if you like if you don't need it for server costs.

Interesting, funny as fuck, not long enough!!
