LF Ubuntu equivalent to AlphaBaby/Baby Smash... for my cat!

So I'm the lucky owner of a rather awesome young tomcat who's lately taken to chasing cursors across the screens of the various computers and netbooks scattered around my house. I've noticed that he's becoming aware of changes on the screen as he rests his paws on my keyboard, so I'd like to install an Ubuntu equivalent to AlphaBaby or Baby Smash! for him to play around with.

Any pointers? Or maybe this is a bad idea...?

Cats are soooo sweet. I love cats :) Nice pics. But I don't know a Linux equivalent to the programs you mentioned. ;)
Edit:You can let your cat run around and it comes back to you? Wow

I actually walk him around my neighbourhood (downtown Toronto) every couple of days -- without a leash, of course... Don't want to humiliate him or anything! 8-)

Back on topic, are there really no Linux apps for infant/feline key mashers?

It sounds like someone needs to make a proposal to the LO forums for the "LO masher" application.
If the key is super, why is there a Windows logo on it?

We can add this to the list of projects _started_ by the LO community.

Run Tux Paint, and see how he does! Make sure you post some of the results. :)

Have you thought about trying... Baby Smash?

No, I'm not trying to be a wise ass. I've heard a little bit about Baby Smash from Scott Hanselman's podcast, and I know it's done in .NET, so it might work with Mono. Also, from what I've heard it has some modability, so perhaps you could make a fish/mouse tile set? :)

From the Baby Smash! site:

As babies smash on the keyboard, colored shapes, letters and numbers appear on the screen. Baby Smash will lock out the Windows Key, as well as Ctrl-Esc and Alt-Tab so your baby can't get out of the application. Pressing ALT-F4 will exit the application and Shift-Ctrl-Alt-O brings up the options dialog.

I'm a bit of a n00b so I'm maybe not up to installing Mono on my netbook at the moment, but TuxPaint sounds like a good place to start. If there's anything worth seeing I'll definitely post it! ;)
